License, Usage Terms & Third-Party Notices
This document describes the usage rights for Findit6Agent and the Findit6Agent, the relationship to the commercial Findit6 product, and the principal third-party software and model licenses used by the packaged reranking runtime.

Findit6Agent
Permitted use
- Private use.
- Non-commercial experimental and evaluation use.
- Use without a fixed expiration date.
Not included
- No right to commercial or productive business use.
- No contractual right to free updates, upgrades, maintenance or support.
- No guarantee that a particular feature, model integration or interface will remain unchanged.
Commercial use requires an appropriate commercial Findit6 license.
Commercial Findit6 license
The commercial product line is currently Findit6.3. At the time of this release, the license price is EUR 55 per user. Findit6Agent is included with the commercial Findit6 package.
- The purchased license is permanent; it does not expire merely because a newer minor release becomes available.
- Updates within the Findit6.x product line and updates to Findit6Agent are included without an additional update fee.
- Very occasional major-version changes, for example a future Findit7, may require a paid upgrade.
- Charges from external AI providers, API subscriptions, cloud services or other third parties are not included in the Findit6 license.
Prices and commercial terms may be changed for future purchases. A previously granted perpetual license remains subject to the terms under which it was acquired.
Findit6Agent source-available terms
The PolyForm Perimeter License 1.0.1 is adopted without modification. The official license text is available at polyformproject.org/licenses/perimeter/1.0.1. That official text is controlling.

What this means in practice
You may inspect, study, modify and redistribute the Findit6Agent source code in accordance with PolyForm Perimeter 1.0.1. You may not use it to provide a product that competes with Findit6Agent.
The source-code license does not grant a commercial Findit6 product license. Commercial use of Findit6 remains subject to the applicable commercial Findit6 license terms described above.
Not Open Source in the OSI sense
Because PolyForm Perimeter contains a competition restriction, Findit6Agent is source-available, not OSI-approved Open Source.
Third-party code
Third-party software, models and libraries included with or used by Findit6Agent are not relicensed under PolyForm Perimeter. They remain governed by their respective licenses.
AI providers, local models & data responsibility
Findit6Agent can be configured to use local models and/or external AI providers. When an external provider is selected, prompts, excerpts or document content needed for the requested task may be transmitted to that provider.
- You are responsible for deciding whether the documents and information being processed may lawfully and appropriately be sent to the selected provider.
- You are responsible for confidentiality, data-protection requirements, contractual restrictions and professional secrecy obligations that apply to your data.
- Terms, privacy policies, retention rules and charges of external AI providers are governed by those providers and may change independently of Findit6Agent.
- API keys, subscriptions and provider charges are the user's responsibility unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Warranty, accuracy & limitation of liability
Findit6Agent, Findit6Agent and all accompanying software are provided āas isā and āas availableā. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty is given that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, suitable for a particular purpose, or that every file, search result, ranking or AI-generated statement will be complete or correct.
AI-generated output may contain mistakes, omissions or unsupported conclusions. Reranking is a relevance estimate, not a factual verification. Search results can also be affected by damaged files, unsupported formats, encryption, OCR quality, access rights, malformed documents or other technical limitations.
Users remain responsible for reviewing important results, preserving appropriate backups, and independently verifying information before relying on it for consequential decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the author and distributors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of data, lost profits or business interruption arising from use of the software.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or mandatory statutory rights where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
Principal third-party components
The packaged local reranker uses third-party software and model files. The following list identifies the principal components of the current release candidate. Their own licenses remain controlling.

The Python runtime contains further direct and transitive dependencies. Their copyright and license notices remain part of the installed package metadata and/or accompanying license files and are not replaced by this summary.
Preserving third-party license notices
Python runtime, the ONNX model directory or their package metadata. In particular, license files and third-party notices shipped with Python packages and ONNX Runtime must remain with redistributed copies.
This HTML page is intended as a convenient top-level notice. It does not replace the full license texts or notices supplied by third-party projects. Where a third-party license requires preservation of a license text, copyright notice or NOTICE file, the original material included in the distribution remains controlling.
For future releases, the third-party component list should be reviewed whenever the Python runtime, model, ONNX export or dependency versions are changed.
